物事の本質！？

　何となく昔のB!誌('93/1月号)を再読。AC/DCのAngus YoungのInterview内容が素晴らしく、感動してしまった。Liveアルバムをリリースした時期のInterviewで、一番小さい会場がダブリンでの6,000人というから規模が違うね。
　以下、抜粋。
　「最近では、とにかく速いスピードでプレイすることがロックだ、と考えているようにみえるバンドもあるけれど、大事なのは、どんなスピードであれ、そこにリズムがあるか、ということだと思うんだ。」
　「俺にとってのロックは怒りやフラストレーションとは無縁のもので、常にポジティヴなもの、”幸福”とか”喜び”を意味していた。」
　「ロックン・ローラーはあらゆるものを乱用してクレイジーな人生を生きる、というのは誰かが作ったイメージであって、日本人なら着物を着ているはずだ、と考えるのと同じように、事実とはまったく関係のない型に嵌った見方にすぎない。」
　なんか、考えさせられたナー。(^^; 今年中に来日公演行ってくれないかなぁと思う。

　その他、この'93/1月号には、何とSaint VitusのInterview記事が。Vo.に元Count RavenのChristian Lindersonを迎えて「C.O.D.」をリリースした時期。この作品、Don Dokkenのプロデュースなのだが、どうしてなのかなぁ？と今まで思っていた。真相はDon DokkenとドラムのArmondo Acostaは子供の頃からの友達だったらしい。(ﾟﾟ;) それでDon Dokkenの方から自分のスタジオを使わないかとの打診＆格安料金提示だったためと語っている。(笑) 非常に楽しいレコーディングだったそうだ。意外〜！
