　Julian Copeによる日本の'60s〜'70sアンダーグラウンド・ロック・シーンを抉った一つの究極本の邦訳が出たので買ってみた。いやぁ〜、よくこんだけ調べたねぇ、ってな内容で真夏の夜を過ごすにはもってこいのカルトな内容。なんてったって黒船から始まるのだよ。(^^; お堅い本で久々に手応えを感じている。なお、巻末に音楽プロデューサーの折田育造氏の対談が掲載されていて、間違いなど誤解が多いことを記述している点でも邦訳本のポイント高し。この対談中で、折田氏も触れていたが、確かにDoomファンジンの金字塔「Black Shapes of Doom Vol.2」の記事を大分参考にして書いているみたいだ。でもね、私はJulian Copeの勤勉さを買いたい。取り敢えずAuthor's Top 50辺りから攻めてみると面白いだろう。
　一方、これまた巻末に掲載されている近田春男×Marty Friedmanの対談が緩くてこの本の中で浮いていて良いね。(^^;
